" Really cool how these work over time. Good for really damp places. As the calcium salts absorb water, they ionize into calcium, chloride and h20 in a solution that collects in the bottom of the container. Once the white beads are gone, they are used and you throw it away or recycle it. Very cool idea and works well for super humid places. I'm using 7 of 8 actively in my house, as we speak. "

“ Ordered these to get rid of a musty smell in our basement area. It took a day or two to notice a difference, but these moisture absorbers seem to be doing the trick. Not sure how long each will last, but I am happy to know that these are working. I like that they aren't "masking" the smell with a fragrance.”
